Addresses

Ethereum 0x… and Tron T… are the same 20-byte account. A transfer sent from TronLink is the balance MetaMask reads.

Both encodings start from a secp256k1 public key:

account = keccak256(uncompressed_pubkey_without_prefix)[-20..]

Ethereum — 0x plus 40 hex characters, EIP-55 checksum in the letter case.
Tron — version byte 0x41, double-SHA256 checksum, Base58. The result always starts with T.

This explorer accepts either form in search. Canonical links use the 0x path.
