PQ signatures

Every produced block carries a post-quantum signature over its hash. The PQ badge on a block is that signature. Your wallet keeps the key it already has.

Where you see it

Home and the blocks list show a PQ pill when the signature is present. Open the block and the page shows a sha256 fingerprint of the signature bytes, so you can recognize the signature without reading all of it.

What was signed

The signed message is the 32-byte block hash. The algorithm is ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204). A signature is 3309 bytes. Signing happens inside 2d-hsm. Block pages name that producer 2d-hsm. It has no MetaMask account of its own.

Your payments

A transfer you send stays a secp256k1 eth_rlp transaction. Adding POA to a wallet leaves the wallet on that same key. The post-quantum key belongs to the producer.

A block is final when it is produced. The signature is how a reader checks that this producer sealed that hash. Where the key lives is the HSM page.
